The Tournament Courses

From serene highlands to dramatic coastal links and vibrant city layouts, each course tells its own story of challenge and beauty. Enhanced by the warmth of Vietnam’s renowned hospitality and the expertise of its caddies, every round here becomes more than just golf — it’s an unforgettable journey.

Hyderabad Golf Association

The Hyderabad Golf Association (HGA) is one of South India’s most historic and respected golf courses, established in 1928 in the heart of Secunderabad. This 18-hole championship course is known for its tree-lined fairways, strategic bunkering, and well-protected greens that reward accuracy and thoughtful course management. Blending heritage with modern golfing standards, HGA offers players a challenging yet enjoyable experience, complemented by a vibrant golfing community and experienced caddies who add to the charm of every round.

Vooty Golf County

The Vooty Golf County is a scenic championship course set across rolling countryside and natural water bodies. The layout is known for its wide yet strategically contoured fairways, significant elevation changes, and multiple water hazards that come into play on several holes. Well-protected greens, subtle slopes, and carefully placed bunkers require thoughtful club selection and smart course management rather than just distance. The course offers a balanced mix of risk-reward holes, long testing par-4s, and picturesque par-3s, making it engaging for golfers of all handicaps while delivering a peaceful, resort-style golfing experience surrounded by nature.

Boulder Hills Golf and Country Club

The Boulder Hills Golf and Country Club is one of India’s most visually striking golf courses, set amidst dramatic granite boulder formations that define the character of the layout. Unlike traditional parkland courses, Boulder Hills features rock-lined fairways, sharp elevation changes, and strategically carved landing areas, demanding accuracy and thoughtful shot placement. The course combines challenging carries, undulating greens, and natural rock hazards that create memorable and distinctive holes. With its bold landscape and modern design, Boulder Hills delivers a unique golfing experience where strategy, precision, and course management become just as important as power.

The Tournament Scoring

Team Stableford Format

Points Allocation: Points are awarded for each hole based on the number of strokes a golfer takes relative to the hole’s par and their course handicap. The allocation of points is typically as follows:

Condor or better (4 under par): 6 points (Hole in one on Par 4)

Double Eagle / Albatross (3 under par): 5 points (Hole in one on Par 3)

Eagle (2 under par): 4 points

Birdie (1 under par): 3 points

Par: 2 points

Bogey (1 over par): 1 point

Double Bogey or worse (2 or more over par): 0 points

Since it is a Stableford format, you may pickup your ball if your score on par 3 is over 6, on par 4 over 7 and on par 5 over 8.

Scoring: After completing a hole, golfers tally their points for that hole and record them on their scorecard. The process is repeated for all 18 holes.

In order to arrive at the team total, sum of stable ford point of both the players of the team in 4 ball shall be added to arrive at the team total.

Tournament Point:

There will be top 3 team out of the 6 teams, the first gets 3 points, 2nd gets 2 points and 3rd gets 1 point i.e. 6 points for the overall game.

Match Play Format

Points Allocation: On each hole, the golfer (or team) with the lower score wins that specific hole. The winner of each hole is said to be “1 up” on their opponent. If both golfers (or teams) have the same score on a hole, the hole is considered “halved,” and no one gains an advantage.

Scoring: After completing a hole, golfers tally their points for that hole and record them on their scorecard. The process is repeated for all 18 holes.

Winning: The player (or team) who is leading by a greater number of holes than there are remaining to play is declared the winner. For example, if a golfer is “3 up” with only two holes left to play, they have won the match because their opponent cannot catch up.

Tournament Point:

Each Winning Team for Game 02 will get 1 point each i.e. in total there will be 3 points for Game 2.

Each Winning Player for Game 03 will get 1 point each i.e. in total there will be 6 points for Game 3.

Note: Net Scores shall be counted for scoring purposes

Tournament Winner

The Score of all the 3 games shall be added to arrive at the total tournament points. The team which has higher tournament points for all the 3 days put together, shall be the winner for this 7th Edition of Mulligan Masters
